What is better in the whole wide world of living than to find things that you LOVE LOVE LOVE….

The very best places to find treasures are second hand stores!

It would really help my infatuation with finding a gold nugget in the middle of shelves of gravel if I would try harder to get rid of old things as I find new things.

But when I find things I love them sooooooooooooo much!

Today on the way from one place to another I stopped at a local thrift shop.

There hanging on an ordinary row of boring scarves was one crowning jewel whose sparkle and pizzaz caught my eye….a stunning pink and gray scarf that perfectly matched my attire today, of all days!

I had to buy it.  It was only $2.99!!!

Then, knowing I needed a bowl for lunches in the office (I despise plastic dishes, they feel too feeble), I spied a cool Italian painted pottery bowl that was just the right size….and right before lunchtime….also a twist of fate!

I had to buy it.  It was only $1.99!!!  (and as you can see in the picture, it can serve as a perfectly good hat…)

$5 and I am giddily happy today.  What a cheap date I would be…

I wonder what tomorrow will bring?
