Sometimes I wonder about who I am.

I love being with groups of friends and laughing,

I love being in a crowded bar and seeking out people to start unusual  conversations with,

but I hate being the center of attention.

If I had my way, I would not have celebrated my graduation, wedding, or babies in the way of a shower.

I also despise those games you have to play at showers, I want to run away yelling “FIRE” when I am asked to play.

I avoid these places at all costs.

Today I had to go to a wedding shower for a family member.

There were scrumptious cupcakes and no games so the day wasn’t a wash.

I even had a fun day with my girls.
