Here goes the first virtual day of the rest of my life…

Thanks to my unique friend, M, the last couple of years has peaked my interest in writing.

I begrudgingly made it through high school and college English with grades that made my parents proud enough.

However, any scribbling since then was in the context of my career in education, a scattered Facebook post or a random belated note of some sort.

That is until I found a virtual pen pal whose uniqueness and idiosyncrasies in writing intrigued me enough to write, hunkered down with a glass of wine, on a regular basis.

Then comes kudos to another amazing friend that not only keeps me grounded but also mentioned that I start a blog….thanks, JP, for the inspiration for this unsettling yet hopeful adventure.

So here begins my mid-life transition from a single brown fountain pen (named T because he was a generous gift from a pen show in Boston) to a blog out there for the whole world to see……unique or not.
